JAMpr Shares Tricks of the Trade with TraderPeople

JAMpr has been enlisted to handle trade and consumer public relations for online social gaming business TraderPeople, helping to promote its recently launched gaming websites www.traderversity.com and www.traderplay.com.

TraderPeople provides fantasy and simulated financial trading games for a variety of audiences, from inquisitive novices through to experienced traders. It launched its first two games in December 2011; Traderversity is aimed at the student sector, while TraderPlay is accessible to all gamers, both are free-to-play with real-time prices, bringing a whole new interactive, socially integrated dimension to online trading games.

JAM will carry out a strategic, nationwide PR campaign targeting specialist websites, digital and social media, as well as traditional off-line press for both sectors.

The team has devised a campaign to educate businesses on the benefits of investing in interactive games as a marketing tool, to raise the profile of the company founders, and to increase the number of users of the new games overall.

London-based TraderPeople is backed by investment company Blenheim Chalcot. Jonathan Rose, co-founder of TraderPeople says: “As a new company, it is crucial for us to get the launch right and really make our mark on the competitive gaming scene. JAM impressed us with its experience in digital and social media and its creative campaign ideas, and we are confident that their PR strategy will deliver the results we are looking for.

JAM STRIKES GOLD!

In the legendary words of Spandau Ballet, “Gold! Always believe in your soul. You’ve got the power to know you’re indestructible. Always believe in because you are gold.”

It’s as if the great Tony Hadley wrote those lyrics just for JAM. Well, it certainly did last night when we picked up the Gold award for Outstanding Small Consultancy at the CIPR North West PRide Awards.

We are brimming over with excitement and PRide at our Gold award, especially when we were shortlisted from over 1,000 UK-wide entries. Being shortlisted – let alone winning an award at PRide - is a great honour knowing that the work we deliver has been judged to be among the best in the UK.

Judges commented: “This is an impressive account of a business that has grown from a one-woman-band from a kitchen table to a five person team with ambitious objectives. Investment in personal development and training has paid dividends. Outstanding achievements covered revenue growth, client retention, awards and evaluation. An impressive entry!”

We say this every year but it’s true - awards can’t be won without great material to work with, so we’d like to thank all our clients, past and present, for being a great bunch of people (and brands) to work with.

And a HUGE thank you goes to our incredible team of Jammers – you rock! Keep up the amazing work.

JAM Cooks Up A Storm With TV Chef, James Martin

TV Chef, James Martin has enlisted the help of JAMpr to raise awareness of his new venture, Life Fork & Spoon (www.lifeforkandspoon.co.uk) – an online home-delivery service bringing delicious, restaurant quality meals and dishes to your door.

Manchester-based JAMpr will handle Life Fork & Spoon’s consumer and trade PR to highlight the product offering and communicate the ease, convenience and quality of the service. The PR drive will emphasise that all recipes have been specially created by James himself, along with his team of experienced chefs to provide the perfect way to serve up gourmet meals in a matter of minutes.

The PR programme includes a mixture of strategies targeting websites, digital and social media and offline activities, including a hard-working press office function, as well as event support.
